OCT. 12-28: The Belleville Theatre Guild launches its 2017-2018 sea­son with “Our Town,” writ­ten by Thorn­ton Wilder and di­rected by Ian Feltham. Wilder's play gen­tly opens the scrap­book of sev­eral lives in small-town New Hamp­shire at the be­gin­ning of the 20th cen­tury. He weaves their joys and sor­rows into a mag­i­cal and un­for­get­table tale of all hu­man­ity, a tale for which he won the Pulitzer Prize for Drama in 1938. Per­for­mances are at the Pin­na­cle Play­house on se­lect evenings at 8 p.m. and Sun­day mati­nees at 2 p.m. Tick­ets are $20 for adults, $18 for se­niors, and $10 for stu­dents.
