Grant applications for registered charities
The Community Foundation of Newfoundland and Labrador is now accepting applications from registered charities for grants of up to $2,000 to fund innovative projects that will benefit the communities of our province. Projects in a variety of fields will be considered, including health, heritage, arts, education, social welfare, and environmental protection. The deadline for applications is October 31. Canadian Red Cross
Is now accepting volunteer application for the Disaster Management team in the Happy Valley Goose Bay area. This team assists individuals who are affected my house fires and floods, as well as larger scale disasters that can affect an entire community. The next training will take place in June.
