Pair ar­rested for rob­bery at busi­ness in Happy Val­ley-Goose Bay

One of the ac­cused fac­ing trail for al­legedly rob­bing same busi­ness last year

A man who is await­ing trail for al­legedly rob­bing a con­ve­nience store in Happy Val­ley-Goose Bay in 2017 was ar­rested again for the same al­leged crime on Sept. 25.

Bradley Moss, 37, is be­ing charged with rob­bery and breach­ing court or­ders re­lat­ing to a theft at the Gren­fell Va­ri­ety store at ap­prox­i­mately 9:30 p.m. on Sept. 25.

Ac­cord­ing to a re­lease from the RCMP, two men went to the store and one of them en­tered the store and stole the cash reg­is­ter con­tain­ing an undis­closed amount of money. Both men then left the area in a ve­hi­cle.

Edgar John Rus­sell, 36, was also ar­rested and is fac­ing charges of rob­bery, driv­ing while dis­qual­i­fied, break­ing and en­ter­ing and com­mit­ting an in­dictable of­fence, im­paired driv­ing and re­fus­ing a Breath­a­lyzer.

Moss is sched­uled to go on trial in Happy Val­ley-Goose Bay on Nov. 1 for al­legedly rob­bing the same store in April of last year. After po­lice re­leased im­ages of the man be­lieved to have com­mit­ted the crime Moss turned him­self in to po­lice.

Moss is be­ing held for a bail hear­ing sched­uled for Oct. 10 and Rus­sell is next sched­uled to ap­pear on Oct. 29.
