Pair arrested for robbery at business in Happy Valley-Goose Bay
One of the accused facing trail for allegedly robbing same business last year
A man who is awaiting trail for allegedly robbing a convenience store in Happy Valley-Goose Bay in 2017 was arrested again for the same alleged crime on Sept. 25.
Bradley Moss, 37, is being charged with robbery and breaching court orders relating to a theft at the Grenfell Variety store at approximately 9:30 p.m. on Sept. 25.
According to a release from the RCMP, two men went to the store and one of them entered the store and stole the cash register containing an undisclosed amount of money. Both men then left the area in a vehicle.
Edgar John Russell, 36, was also arrested and is facing charges of robbery, driving while disqualified, breaking and entering and committing an indictable offence, impaired driving and refusing a Breathalyzer.
Moss is scheduled to go on trial in Happy Valley-Goose Bay on Nov. 1 for allegedly robbing the same store in April of last year. After police released images of the man believed to have committed the crime Moss turned himself in to police.
Moss is being held for a bail hearing scheduled for Oct. 10 and Russell is next scheduled to appear on Oct. 29.
