Teachers need coddling
After five weeks of a college strike, a possible settlement is about to go to a vote. But this group of well-heeled educators need days to conduct a vote. Why? How can such planned chaos be tolerated or be constructed by a group that said this strike was because they love the students?
If the strike is ended by the vote, they won’t be back to work until next Tuesday.
We can conduct a citywide, provincial or national election in one day. The Cami workers recently voted to get back to work and they did the next day. But teachers need to be coddled back to college like a junior kindergarten.
