Delay parade

The London Free Press - - LETTERS -

I agree with Brian Harris’s letter Remember first (Nov. 3) about the London Santa Claus parade at the same time people will be gathering at the cenotaph. This is insensitive to those who have fallen in service to our country, those who made it home but not unaffected and those who are serving today. It is also insulting to the families of the vets.

Is it that hard to let us have a day to pay our respects to the people who made it possible for us and those people involved in the Santa Claus parade to live in a free country and wait one week for the parade?

Other place have their parades closer to Christmas. I’m hoping that the new council will listen. Margaret A. Robertson London
