Not just one day
Nov. 11 is not a time to celebrate, but rather a time to reflect on our responsibilities as citizens of this small world. Have we dropped the torch? Will the Canadian soldiers of the past not sleep? How have we respected their sacrifice?
I fear we have let them down as many of us have a deaf ear to the cries for help echoing throughout the world. Life has become so cheap that we pass it by every day, without a thought of its value.
Take this time to reflect. There’s a reason it’s called Remembrance Day. Not just one day, but every day! Christine Morgan London
