Edson RCMP recover stolen vehicle from Edmonton
Edson, Alberta – On December 10, 2016 Edson GIS (General Investigations Section) was on patrol in the Town of Edson when they noted a suspicious vehicle at a local fast food restaurant. Officers obtained the licence plate at which time they were informed the vehicle was stolen out of Edmonton, Alberta.
The vehicle, a 2012 Nissan NV Van, was tracked to another local business where Officers from Edson GIS and GD (General Duty) confronted the sole occupant of the vehicle. Jolene Moyan, 40, of Niton Junction, Alberta was taken in to custody and has been charged with one count of possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000. She has been remanded in to custody to appear in Edson Provincial Court on December 14, 2016.
