Slow moving agricultural equipment to share the road

The McLeod River Post - - Family, Farm & Garden -

County residents are urged to be considerate of farmers whose farm vehicles rely on local roadways during the harvest season.

Yellowhead County would like to remind residents that local farmers are currently harvesting their crops before the start of the winter season. This means that a high volume of farm equipment will be travelling along our local roadways.

We ask that you please be cautious when you see farm equipment on the road and respect that large equipment is difficult to maneuver, has limited visibility and blind spots, and cannot travel at fast speeds.

Our hard working local producers have a limited window to get their work completed— we thank you for your patience and attention when sharing the road with them. Remember: we all share the responsibility of keeping our roadways safe.
