Yellowhead County residents interested in learning about retirement saving, good money management, RRSP’s, etc. are encouraged to register for this free workshop

Whether young or elderly, you have an idea of how sound retirement planning can benefit your golden years. Having a plan is essential to a happy retirement, especially if you’re relying on a government pension or are unemployed—the amount you receive from the government may not be enough to meet your needs closer to retirement.

In this workshop, you will find out how to save for your retirement, how to manage your money, and how to keep it all simple; the ins and outs of RRSP’s, term deposits, and GIC’s; and how to budget during retirement.

The facilitators include Ashley Dyck, Branch Manager at Entwistle Servus Credit Union, who will offer general knowledge, and Cody Murdock, Investment Specialist, who will focus on investing and retirement planning.

The workshop will take place on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 from 6:30 to 8:00 P.M. at the Evansburg Heritage House. There is no cost for this workshop and there will be light refreshments.

Please call the Yellowhead County Wildwood Office at 780-325-3782 or 1-800-814-3935 to pre-register for this workshop.
