NEW GLASGOW – Marsha Margaret Morrison, 62, of Townsend Avenue, passed away Friday July 22, 2016 in the Aberdeen Hospital New Glasgow, surrounded by her family.

Born in New Glasgow, she was the daughter of the late John James and Mary Agnes (Walsh) MacPhee.

Marsha worked at various jobs and most recently at KFC. She was an avid bingo player and horror movie enthusiast. She also enjoyed baking and her homemade bread was the best, according to her family.

Surviving are her husband, Leslie; sons John (Tammy), Stellarton; Scott (Lori), West River Station; daughter Shannon, Lancaster, Ont; grandchild­ren, Ina, Gage, Nicholas, Josh, Angela, Andrew, Morgan; great grandchild, Parker; special grandchild, Natasha. Marsha is also survived by brothers, Jackie, New Glasgow; Roddie, Pictou; sisters, Theresa Corbett, Central Caribou, Jenny LeBlanc, Stellarton.

She was predecease­d by son in law, Marcel; sisters, Hazel MacPhee, Marie Boutlier, Thelma Crossan, and Shirley Stewart.

The family will receive visitors 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m Monday in P & K MacDonald Funeral Home, New Glasgow from where funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday with Rev. Dr. Glen Matheson officiatin­g. No flowers by request.

Donations may be made in Marsha’s memory to her family.
