Man accused of Sobeys robbery returns to court in October
PICTOU, N.S. — A Stellarton man charged with break and enter into a grocery store will return to court in October.
Bradley Jonathan Turnbull is charged with break and enter to commit the indictable offence of theft, theft of groceries not exceeding $5,000, mischief by damaging the main doors of a store and mischief by misleading police in its investigation.
The charges were laid in relation to an alleged incident at Sobeys retail store in Stellarton on April 10. He has submitted an application to have his case go through the restorative justice program.
Turnbull will return on Oct. 31 to Pictou provincial court during which time arguments are expected be heard in regards to the Restorative Justice program’s authorization in regards to level 3 referrals.
