Man ac­cused of Sobeys rob­bery re­turns to court in Oc­to­ber

PIC­TOU, N.S. — A Stel­lar­ton man charged with break and en­ter into a gro­cery store will re­turn to court in Oc­to­ber.

Bradley Jonathan Turn­bull is charged with break and en­ter to com­mit the in­dictable of­fence of theft, theft of gro­ceries not ex­ceed­ing $5,000, mis­chief by dam­ag­ing the main doors of a store and mis­chief by mis­lead­ing po­lice in its in­ves­ti­ga­tion.

The charges were laid in re­la­tion to an al­leged in­ci­dent at Sobeys re­tail store in Stel­lar­ton on April 10. He has sub­mit­ted an ap­pli­ca­tion to have his case go through the restora­tive jus­tice pro­gram.

Turn­bull will re­turn on Oct. 31 to Pic­tou pro­vin­cial court dur­ing which time ar­gu­ments are ex­pected be heard in re­gards to the Restora­tive Jus­tice pro­gram’s au­tho­riza­tion in re­gards to level 3 re­fer­rals.
