Fog Trot raises funds for Chil­dren’s Wish Foun­da­tion

ARNOLD’S COVE, NL— Fifty­one peo­ple par­tic­i­pated in the eleventh an­nual Arnold’s Cove Fog Trot on Sept. 30, in­clud­ing Tri­cen­tia Academy Grade 2 stu­dent Kahlem Best. At age seven, Kahlem is the youngest per­son to ever par­tic­i­pate in the Fog Trot, fin­ish­ing the 10-kilo­me­tre race in one hour, 20 min­utes.

In the fe­male di­vi­sion, Debbie His­cock placed first, Sharon Collins placed sec­ond, and Sharon Best placed third.

In the male di­vi­sion, Craig Vokey placed first, Liam Vokey placed sec­ond, and Keith Bar­ring­ton placed third.

As of Mon­day morn­ing, just over $2,500 was raised for Chil­dren’s Wish Foun­da­tion, with do­na­tions still com­ing in.
