Clarenville Farm and Market finalist for $50K Aviva grant
The Clarenville Farm and Market has been voted a finalist for a $50,000-grant from the Aviva Community Fund.
The non-profit, seasonal educational growing farm and vendor market is up against four other projects in the community resilience category.
Aviva’s judging panel is currently selecting the grand-prize winners with the announcement coming on Dec. 5.
If it wins, Clarenville Farm and Market will use the funds to help build a wood-frame structure and washroom at its site.
The finalists were selected by online voting.
The Aviva Community Fund has been investing in charitable community initiatives across Canada for the past eight years.
