advanced group entered their first competition. By the fall, there were 21 hours of gymnastics classes being offered weekly and a second coach, Erin Bishop, working with students.
The program continues to grow. Eight more hours of training have been added to the schedule, the competitive team has moved up to the next level, and a junior competitive team is being developed.
“There’s such a desire for it in the community, even though it was something I had said I was past doing, I really felt it was important to start again,” says Seguin.
The next event on the schedule is a gymnastics showcase at Clarenville’s Velocity on May 6.
