ART: The Kawartha Artists Gallery and Stu­dio presents Petals and Pitch­ers, a flo­ral and still life art show and sale. Runs un­til March 12 at 420 O'Con­nell Rd. ART: The Kawartha Arts Net­work's presents Eastern Art Through Western I's, an ex­hibit of Chi­nese brush paint­ing by lo­cal artists Richard Sauve and Bruce Young. Both have been prac­tion­ers, in this medium, for a sub­stan­tial pe­riod of time, yet each one of­fers his own per­spec­tive; their pieces are unique. TAI CHI: Tai Chi, taught by Ge­orge Kerr, at Mur­ray Street Bap­tist Church, 175 Mur­ray St. (use back en­trance). Classes for be­gin­ner stu­dents take place Thurs­days at 9:30 a.m. All are wel­come to at­tend and en­cour­aged to learn about the ben­e­fits of Tai Chi to both body and mind.
