Boys high school hockey play­off open­ing round set

The open­ing round of the Kawartha high school boys hockey play­offs are set. The first place Camp­bell­ford Flames will kick off a best-of-three se­ries against Cobourg Col­le­giate 1 p.m. Wed­nes­day in Camp­bell­ford. Game 2 is 2 p.m. Fri­day in Cobourg. Game 3, if nec­es­sary, is to be de­cided. Se­cond place St. Peter’s Saints will face the Adam Scott Lions start­ing 2:15 p.m. Wed­nes­day at the Kins­men Civic Cen­tre. Game 2 is 3:45 p.m. Thurs­day at the Kins­men. Game 3, if nec­es­sary, is to be de­cided. Third place Crest­wood Mus­tangs will meet Hal­ibur­ton High­lands start­ing 3 p.m. Tues­day at the Kins­men. Games two and three are to be de­cided. Fourth place St. Mary will host Lind­say Col­le­giate 1 p.m. Tues­day in Cobourg with Game 2 in Lind­say 1 p.m. Thurs­day. Game 3 is to be de­cided. The win­ners ad­vance to the Kawartha cham­pi­onships on March 1.
