Sudden death in Frankford investigated by OPP
FRANKFORD - Quinte West OPP are investigating after a sudden death Wednesday in the village of Frankford, about 85 kilometres southeast of Peterborough. A house in the village was cordoned off with yellow tape Wednesday for an investigation by forensics unit officers. Officers were called to the scene at about 11:35 a.m. Wednesday, police said. “At this time there, does not appear to be any risk to public safety,” Quinte West OPP spokesman David Ludington stated. OPP officers continued their investigation at the house on Thursday, but police did not release any further information about how the death happened.
