Sud­den death in Frank­ford in­ves­ti­gated by OPP

FRANK­FORD - Quinte West OPP are in­ves­ti­gat­ing af­ter a sud­den death Wed­nes­day in the vil­lage of Frank­ford, about 85 kilo­me­tres south­east of Peter­bor­ough. A house in the vil­lage was cor­doned off with yel­low tape Wed­nes­day for an in­ves­ti­ga­tion by foren­sics unit of­fi­cers. Of­fi­cers were called to the scene at about 11:35 a.m. Wed­nes­day, po­lice said. “At this time there, does not ap­pear to be any risk to pub­lic safety,” Quinte West OPP spokesman David Lud­ing­ton stated. OPP of­fi­cers con­tin­ued their in­ves­ti­ga­tion at the house on Thurs­day, but po­lice did not re­lease any fur­ther in­for­ma­tion about how the death hap­pened.
