Peter­bor­ough fire­fight­ers took ad­van­tage of Thursday’s balmy weather to con­duct an ice res­cue train­ing ses­sion on the Oton­abee River near Craw­ford Dr. in Peter­bor­ough. The fire depart­ment’s four pla­toons train once ev­ery win­ter sea­son. Crews will be sharp­en­ing their skills there again for the next two to three weeks.
