Trans­port truck stolen near Lind­say

LIND­SAY — A trans­port truck was stolen Satur­day night from a busi­ness in Lind­say. Late Satur­day night, a stolen trans­port truck was driven onto the prop­erty of a busi­ness on High­way 35, south of High­way 7 in Lind­say, ac­cord­ing to the City of Kawartha Lakes Po­lice Ser­vice.

The oc­cu­pants then ex­ited the stolen truck and pro­ceeded to steal an­other trans­port truck, leav­ing a short time later, po­lice said.

Stolen was a white 1997 In­ter­na­tional with the logo of Lorne Bagshaw Ex­ca­vat­ing on each door of the cab with On­tario li­cence plate 5295ZR.

The truck had no trailer at the time of the theft.
