Mussel Bed Soiree winds down with games, entertainment
Waterfront activities and Family Fun Day anchor annual event
The 2017 Mussel Bed Soiree wrapped up with festivities at the waterfront and a Family Fun Day Aug. 13 and 14.
Entertainment was the focus of the daytime waterfront activities, with performances by local artists, complete with games and food vendors for attendees. The evening was capped off with the annual Notre Dame Recreation Boat Parade of Lights, and a fireworks display.
The Eastlink Family Fun Day took place Monday at the Lewisporte Recreation Complex. Family Fun Day is a completely free event that includes games, water activates, food and prizes for local children.
