COTTLESVILLE Fall Fair
Oct. 21 - The Fall Fair will take place at the Cottlesville Community Centre at the Town Hall building from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. Admission $2. There will be vendors and crafters. There will be soup/chili, tea/coffee and sweets for purchase as well.
BIRCHY BAY Fall Fair
Oct. 21 - The Town of Birchy Bay will be hosting the 23rd annual Fall Fair.
There will be games of chance, ticket raffle, 50/50 draw, craft tables and home cooked food. Please come and support this special event.
NORRIS ARM Craft Show
Oct. 21 - The third annual Norris Arm Craft Show will take place from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. at the Valley Lounge (490 Gillingham Avenue, Norris Arm South). Admission is $2. Kitchen service also available. Hosted by the Norris Arm Recreation Committee. Everyone welcome.
FOGO ISLAND Community Development Conference
Oct. 19-22 - Fogo Island will play host to a major futures community development conference. The conference, sponsored by FOGO PROCESS 2067, and the Fogo Island Joint 50th Anniversary Planning Committee, commemorates the 50th anniversary of the Fogo Process and the Fogo Island Co-operative. Participants and panelists will review successes and lessons learned during the past 50 years and discuss opportunities for the next 50. The conference will culminate in a premier screening of Warriors of Fogo - a film about the founders of the Fogo Island Improvement Committee and the Fogo Island Producers Co-operative. The conference is open to the public, but pre-registration is necessary by Oct. 12, 2017 and can be done by contacting Paddy Barry at 709-627-3452.
LEWISPORTE Blessing of the Animals
Blessing of the animals will take place in the parking lot of St. Matthew’s United Church on Oct. 7 at 10 a.m. Rain date Oct. 14 at 10 a.m.
Fall Luncheon and Sale
Oct. 14 – The Church of the Holy Family (across from Scotiabank) will hold their fall luncheon and sale, soup and sandwiches. Doors open at 11:30 a.m. Come and enjoy.
Annual Craft Fair

Oct. 23 - The Kinette Club of Notre Dame will be hosting $10 Bingo at the Kin Centre. Doors open at 7:15 p.m. Bingo starts at 8 p.m. Come and bring a friend. Hope to see you there! Please note the date change to Oct. 23.
