RCMP re­port — Twill­ingate

Fol­low­ing are two press re­leases is­sued by the RCMP in Twill­ingate last week:

quest­ing the pub­lic’s as­sis­tance in find­ing those re­spon­si­ble for an in­ci­dent in Sum­mer­ford on Oct. 23.

The RCMP were told that some­time be­tween 9:30-10:30 a.m. a dog was shot with a high­pow­ered pel­let gun when it broke free of its leash.

The in­ci­dent oc­curred in the Over­back Road area of Sum­mer­ford and the dog was rushed to the vet where it later suc­cumbed to its in­jury. The dog was de­scribed as a brown and black boxer.

Any­one with in­for­ma­tion re­gard­ing the in­ci­dent is asked to call the Twill­ingate RCMP at (709) 884-2811 or Crime Stop­pers at 1-800-222-TIPS.

were ad­vised of a break and enter that had oc­curred at the Sum­mer­ford Phar­macy.

The Twill­ingate RCMP is ask­ing for the pub­lic›s as­sis­tance to help iden­tify the one un­known sus­pect. The sus­pect was wear­ing a green army style jacket with a grey hoodie, white gloves and a black ski mask and work boots.

The sus­pect at­tempted to steal a bot­tle of Methadone but was un­suc­cess­ful.
