RECIPE Cana­dian Toast

Cook­ing with the Mar­ket recipe for Cana­dian Toast as op­posed to French Toast In­gre­di­ents: – 2 thick slices of bread – 3 tbsp olive oil – 4 eggs, beaten – 100 g shaved ham – Salt & pep­per, chopped pars­ley, Ital­ian herb sea­son­ing Prepa­ra­tion: – In a shal­low dish soak bread slices in egg, for a few min­utes each both sides

– Heat 2 tbsp olive oil in a fry­ing pan and cook both pieces of soaked bread un­til golden brown, turn over and re­peat on other side

– Mix shaved ham in the dish with re­main­ing egg – Re­move bread from pan, set aside – Add a tbsp of olive oil in pan and pour ham/ egg mix­ture in pan on medium heat

– Im­me­di­ately place the two slices of bread on top, di­vide ham/egg in two por­tions and cook – Sprin­kle with Ital­ian herb sea­son­ing, serve hot and gar­nish with pars­ley.
