Gun laws don’t work

The Province - - EDITORIAL -

When it comes to gun control, I agree with U.S. President Donald Trump.

Chicago has the toughest gun control in the country, but also has the highest murder rates due to gun violence. Even in Canada, we have a high instance of murders due to gun violence despite more restrictive gun laws.

Examples include the shooting of Abbotsford Police Const. John Davidson and all the gangland shootings.

If someone wants to kill someone with a gun, they are not concerned about doing it with a registered firearm. We may as well ban knives, cars or anything that can be used as a weapon. Glenn Nordal, Langley
