RCMP look­ing for whale

For­mer Bluenose skip­per’s weather vane is miss­ing

RCMP are re­quest­ing pub­lic as­sis­tance to re­cover unique item.

Be­tween Septem­ber of 2016 and July 17 of this year, a break and en­ter oc­curred at a prop­erty on Mid­dle Road, Kingsburg. Among the items stolen was a brass weather vane in the shape of a whale. The weather vane was owned by Cap­tain An­gus Wal­ters who skip­pered the Bluenose, and it holds sen­ti­men­tal as well as his­tor­i­cal value.
