Dis­tur­bance down­town

Early Sun­day morn­ing, Brockville po­lice were called to a busi­ness in the south end be­cause of a dis­tur­bance be­tween women. A lo­cal 26-year-old woman was iden­ti­fied to be the dis­turber be­cause she was in­tox­i­cated, said po­lice. The woman re­sisted her ar­rest for pub­lic in­tox­i­ca­tion, po­lice added. She was taken to the po­lice sta­tion and held un­til sober. Later she was re­leased with a fu­ture court date for caus­ing a dis­tur­bance by be­ing drunk and re­sist­ing ar­rest.
