Brockville General Hospital’s Women and Children's Program staff received a donation from The Joyce Group, for the Smile Cookie campaign held at their five Brockville Tim Hortons locations. The donation of $14,199 will go towards the purchase of a Panda Warmer Infant Care Centre. Leeds-Grenville MPP Steve Clark's Christmas open house at the Brockville Convention Centre on Sunday was also a welcome opportunity for local food banks to collect donations ahead of the holidays. Laurie Donaldson was the lucky winner of the Christmas basket draw at MPP Steve Clark's festive gathering on Sunday. The basket was stocked with goodies courtesy of Heather Howard, owner of the 1000 Islands Duty Free and Johnstown Duty Free shops.
