Brockville Gen­eral Hos­pi­tal’s Women and Chil­dren's Pro­gram staff re­ceived a do­na­tion from The Joyce Group, for the Smile Cookie cam­paign held at their five Brockville Tim Hor­tons lo­ca­tions. The do­na­tion of $14,199 will go to­wards the pur­chase of a Panda Warmer In­fant Care Cen­tre. Leeds-Grenville MPP Steve Clark's Christ­mas open house at the Brockville Con­ven­tion Cen­tre on Sun­day was also a wel­come op­por­tu­nity for lo­cal food banks to col­lect do­na­tions ahead of the hol­i­days. Lau­rie Don­ald­son was the lucky win­ner of the Christ­mas bas­ket draw at MPP Steve Clark's fes­tive gath­er­ing on Sun­day. The bas­ket was stocked with good­ies cour­tesy of Heather Howard, owner of the 1000 Is­lands Duty Free and John­stown Duty Free shops.
