Ramona Braganza, a fitness instructor to hollywood stars, is returning to her hometown of Brockville on Feb. 24 for a special one-day wellness workshop and fundraiser benefiting her foundation 321 Empower Inc. The foundation has been established by Braganza to help young women in India who have been rescued from human trafficking. The funds raised through the Brockville event will be used to help train these survivors of human trafficking as fitness instructors for the burgeoning wellness movement in India. The fundraiser will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Brockville Convention Centre on Saturday, February 24 and is filled with a jam-packed day of health and wellness activities. People attending the event will learn fitness tips from Braganza, who has trained Dakota Johnson, Jamie Dornan, Jessica alba, Chris Evans, hugh Jackman, Michael Weatherly, Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively – just a few of Braganza’s clients. Joining Braganza will be Daniel De Luis, owner of Subramanya yoga Centre on Parkedale avenue, and new york City celebrity chef Maureen Brice. Event participants will be treated to three workshops: Braganza’s hollywood workout; De Luis’ yoga methods; and Brice’s nutrition tips. Workshop participants will rotate through all three presentations. healthy snacks will be part of the morning activities and the event will conclude with an inspirational activity. The cost to attend the fundraiser is $99, plus $7.71 service charge for online ticketing. a tax receipt from the 321 Empower Inc. Foundation will be issued to every participant. There are only 90 spots available to attend.
