Fit­ness fest

Ra­mona Bra­ganza, a fit­ness in­struc­tor to hol­ly­wood stars, is re­turn­ing to her home­town of Brockville on Feb. 24 for a spe­cial one-day well­ness work­shop and fundraiser ben­e­fit­ing her foun­da­tion 321 Em­power Inc. The foun­da­tion has been es­tab­lished by Bra­ganza to help young women in In­dia who have been res­cued from hu­man traf­fick­ing. The funds raised through the Brockville event will be used to help train these sur­vivors of hu­man traf­fick­ing as fit­ness in­struc­tors for the bur­geon­ing well­ness move­ment in In­dia. The fundraiser will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Brockville Con­ven­tion Cen­tre on Satur­day, Fe­bru­ary 24 and is filled with a jam-packed day of health and well­ness ac­tiv­i­ties. Peo­ple at­tend­ing the event will learn fit­ness tips from Bra­ganza, who has trained Dakota John­son, Jamie Dor­nan, Jes­sica alba, Chris Evans, hugh Jack­man, Michael Weatherly, Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively – just a few of Bra­ganza’s clients. Joining Bra­ganza will be Daniel De Luis, owner of Subra­manya yoga Cen­tre on Parkedale av­enue, and new york City celebrity chef Maureen Brice. Event par­tic­i­pants will be treated to three work­shops: Bra­ganza’s hol­ly­wood work­out; De Luis’ yoga meth­ods; and Brice’s nu­tri­tion tips. Work­shop par­tic­i­pants will ro­tate through all three pre­sen­ta­tions. healthy snacks will be part of the morn­ing ac­tiv­i­ties and the event will con­clude with an in­spi­ra­tional ac­tiv­ity. The cost to at­tend the fundraiser is $99, plus $7.71 ser­vice charge for on­line tick­et­ing. a tax re­ceipt from the 321 Em­power Inc. Foun­da­tion will be is­sued to ev­ery par­tic­i­pant. There are only 90 spots avail­able to at­tend.
