Marystown man arrested on warrant
A Marystown man charged with operation of a vehicle while impaired by exceeding 80 mg. has been sentenced to 90 days in custody
Melvin Clarke appeared in provincial court in Grand Bank on Thursday following his arrest May 24.
Clarke was given credit for and a half days for that,” said Judge Harold Porter. “I’ll round that up to two days, so the sentence for count number two is 88 days in custody.”
Clarke was also fined $200 under the motorized snow vehicles and all-terrain vehicles act, plus a provincial fine surcharge of 30 percent, as well as a victim surcharge of $100.
