Over 700 but­ter­flies take flight in Marystown

The Dream Fund hosted an­nual but­ter­fly re­lease July 15

Young chil­dren could be seen run­ning through the grass, care­fully swoop­ing up but­ter­flies fol­low­ing The Dream Fund’s an­nual Wings for an An­gel but­ter­fly re­lease held at the Marystown Track and Field Com­plex on July 15.

The event, now in it’s fifth year, helps raise funds uti­lized by the charity to grant the dreams of crit­i­cally ill chil­dren in New­found­land and Labrador. Over 700 but­ter­flies were sold lo­cally, with ap­prox­i­mately 1700 sold prov­ince-wide.
