Colts win 3A SHSAA Soc­cer Re­gion­als

The Swift Cur­rent Comp. Colts soc­cer team lost 4-1 to the Moose Jaw Cen­tral Cy­clones in the cham­pi­onship match to end their two-year reign since join­ing the Moose Jaw Soc­cer League. Matthew Epp scored the only goal in the loss.

The Colts turned things around at 3A South Re­gion­als in Regina with two vic­to­ries to win the four-team tour­na­ment. The Colts won the semi-fi­nal 5-0 over Wey­burn. Felix Dan­quah and Da­mon Koebel each scored twice, while Epp added a sin­gle. Ethan Arnold earned the shutout for the Colts.

The Colts fol­lowed up with a 3-0 win in the cham­pi­onship match over York­ton Re­gional. Dan­quah scored twice and Joel Reimer also found the back of the net. Arnold added a sec­ond straight shutout in goal.

The Colts will be in Saska­toon this week­end for 3A Provin­cials.
