Pee­wee AA Bron­cos split with vis­it­ing Bru­ins

The Swift Cur­rent South­west Ter­mi­nal Bron­cos had mixed re­sults over the week­end against the vis­it­ing Este­van Bru­ins in the Saskatchewan Pee­wee AA Hockey League.

Satur­day, the Bron­cos scored three power play goals on their way to a 5-2 win. They scored their first three goals on the man-ad­van­tage while open­ing up a 4-0 lead. Ber­ney We­ston picked up the win in goal.

Eas­ton Lee paced the at­tack with two goals and one as­sist. Carter Tu­plin and Hud­son Darby each chipped in a goal and an as­sist, while Parker Ron­deau fin­ished with a pair of as­sists. Jake Starke also scored, while Ry­der Woods, Mak­str Mcin­tyre, and Kye Fah­selt added as­sists.

Sun­day, the Bron­cos got out to a slow start and never re­cov­ered in a 7-3 loss. Tu­plin led the Bron­cos with a goal and an as­sist. Darby and Wes­ley Ol­son also scored. Ry­der Rom­mealaere and Kade Stringer both added as­sists and Calder Jones took the loss in goal.

The Bron­cos con­tinue to lead the South Divi­sion with a 4-2 record, while Este­van im­proved to 2-3.

The Bron­cos will re­turn to league ac­tion on Nov. 17-18 in Wey­burn.
