Etobicoke man charged with stunt driv­ing

On Sept. 3, at ap­prox­i­mately 1:30 p.m. East Al­goma OPP mem­bers were on pa­trol on Caus­ley Street, in Blind River.

Po­lice ob­served a small black car driv­ing at a high rate of speed. Sub­se­quently, the ve­hi­cle was stopped. The driver was charged and the ve­hi­cle was towed and im­pounded.

Taha Jib­ril, 25 years of age, of Etobicoke, was charged with: rac­ing a mo­tor ve­hi­cle ex­ces­sive speed.

The ac­cused is sched­uled to ap­pear in Blind River Court on Oct. 31.
