Track your meds for safety

-

As part of Canadian Patient Safety Week, regional health is reminding patients to keep up-to-date lists of all of their medications. Safety week runs from Oct. 24 - 28, and as part of the campaign they have launched a print-friendly brochure to keep track of all medications. It allows you to write out all medications, dosage, and if they have any allergies. Medications are considered prescriptions, over-thecounter medications, natural health products, ear/eye drops, creams, inhalers, injections, liquids, nose sprays, patches, and suppositories. It is important to have this information readily available to increase safety. For more information or to print the brochure visit www.niagarahealth.on.ca.
