PC hopefuls Ford, Mulroney in Niagara
Progressive Conservative Party of Ontario leadership hopefuls Doug Ford and Caroline Mulroney are making stops in Niagara this week to garner support from local Tories.
Ford will hold a free rally for a Better Ontario today at Royal Canadian Legion Branch 4 in Welland from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The legion hall is at 383 Morningstar Ave.
The meet-and-greet with Ford will see light snacks, coffee and tea served, along with a cash bar. The event can be found on Facebook at www.facebook.com/ events/1354431841329517.
Wednesday, Caroline Mulroney will hold a luncheon and meet with residents at Johnny Rocco’s in St. Catharines at 11:45 a.m.

Niagara Centre provincial PC candidate April Jeffs said its nice to see the two leadership candidates come to Niagara and meet with residents, reach out and hear their concerns and what they have to say.
The other leadership candidate is former MPP Christine Elliott.
The three are in a race to replace former PC leader Patrick Brown, who stepped down last month following allegations of sexual misconduct. Brown has denied those allegations.
