Infant’s death being examined
Greater Sudbury Police are assisting the coroner with an investigation into the death of an 18-monthold boy at a home on Louis Street on Wednesday.
Staff Sgt. Peter Orsino confirmed that officers responded to a call of an unconscious child at the home on Louis Street around 4 p.m. The boy was taken to Health Sciences North, where he was pronounced dead.
The Office of the Chief Coroner is leading the investigation. A postmortem examination was conducted at HSN on Tuesday.
No other details were released.
