Pedes­trian air­lifted to Lon­don

A pedes­trian was air­lifted to hospi­tal in Lon­don in crit­i­cal con­di­tion af­ter a col­li­sion in Owen Sound on Wed­nes­day.

Po­lice were called to the in­ter­sec­tion of 20th Street West and 4th Av­enue West af­ter a col­li­sion be­tween a ve­hi­cle and a pedes­trian.

The pedes­trian was taken to the Owen Sound hospi­tal and then air­lifted to Lon­don in crit­i­cal con­di­tion.

The driver of the ve­hi­cle was not in­jured, Owen Sound po­lice said in a news re­lease.

The in­ter­sec­tion was closed for a while Wed­nes­day evening, but it re­opened by mid­night.
