SUV over­turns, two cars collide in sep­a­rate Mount Pearl traf­fic in­ci­dents

No se­ri­ous in­juries in ei­ther in­ci­dent

There were no se­ri­ous in­juries Sun­day fol­low­ing two sep­a­rate col­li­sions in the Mount Pearl area.

In an af­ter­noon in­ci­dent that oc­curred at about 2 p.m., a pickup and the trailer it was tow­ing over­turned in the west­bound lane of Pitts Me­mo­rial Drive just west of the Ruth Av­enue exit.

An SUV was left ly­ing on its side while the trailer was up­side down and ex­ten­sively dam­aged.

A load of con­struc­tion ma­te­ri­als sat in the grass on the side of the high­way. Traf­fic was down to one lane un­til the scene could be cleared.

A 10 a.m. in­ci­dent on Far­rell Drive saw two ve­hi­cles collide in the mid­dle of the road. One woman was taken to hos­pi­tal with mi­nor in­juries.


There were no in­juries Sun­day morn­ing af­ter two cars col­lided on Far­rell Drive.


There were no in­juries Sun­day af­ter this SUV and trailer over­turned on Pitts Me­mo­rial Drive.
