Car­toon was fuel for an old feud

I think The Telegram’s Nov. 10th ed­i­to­rial car­toon de­pict­ing Nat­u­ral Re­sources Min­is­ter Siob­han Coady mak­ing a comment that Que­bec “bet­ter not be hand­ing us a line” was an un­for­tu­nate choice, to say the least.

It’s just fu­elling the anti-que­bec sen­ti­ment that politi­cians have been us­ing for decades.

It is way past time for us, as a province, to work to­gether with our near­est neigh­bour for our mu­tual ben­e­fit, and Que­bec Premier Philippe Cuil­lard seems to be mak­ing all the right noises, as is the fed­eral gov­ern­ment.
