The third named storm of the Atlantic Hurricane season is fast approaching. The category 2 storm that sat off Cape Hatteras Wednesday morning continues to weaken as it moves over colder water. As the storm pulls east of the Avalon overnight Thursday into Friday, we can expect clearing skies and a brisk NW wind with gusts to 60 km/h. The sun will stick around as we wrap up the week.
