The second-year keeper, named a first-team conference all-star prior to the Atlantic University Sport championship, stopped 15 of 17 shots by Cape Breton. One of those was a penalty kick. Memorial had picked up a red card in the 54th minute, playing the remainder of the game short-handed.
In the quarter-final game against the third-seeded Dalhousie Tigers, Walsh kicked out all six shots as the sixthseeded Sea-hawks won 4-0.
