PATRIOTS 27 STEELERS 16
Tom Brady and LeGarrette Blount were too much for the Steelers with or without Ben Roethlisberger on Sunday. Blount ran for 127 yards and two scores while Brady completed 19 of 26 passes for 222 yards and two touchdowns as the Patriots improved to 6-1. Steelers quarterback Landry Jones played capably while filling in for Roethlisberger, who hurt his knee last week, throwing for 281 yards with a touchdown and interception. But the undermanned Steelers lost their second straight and third of the season. The victory was Brady’s third straight since returning from his four-game suspension arising out of Deflategate.
