On June 14, Cape Breton Connect officially launched its free online searchable database of recreational opportunities @ capebretonconnect.ca.

Visitors to the site can search for desired activities for all ages and ability levels by keyword or category. The site provides quick searches for trails, community sports, funding programs, arts & culture programs, social gatherings and volunteer opportunities.

Cape Breton Connect is the newest of five regional Connect.ca online databases supporting active living in Nova Scotia. The Connect.ca interactive map allows users to locate activities in four other regions: Highland Region, Fundy Region, South Shore Region, Cape Breton Region and Valley Region.

Connect.ca sites also encourage people and organizations to submit activities for inclusion in the database. For more info, visit novascotia.cioc.ca
