Su­per­in­ten­dent of Cape Bre­ton High­lands Na­tional Park Eric Lebel (kneel­ing cen­tre) and Deputy War­den of Vic­to­ria County District Larry Dauphi­nee (kneel­ing right) with 42 Hor­i­zon­tal Con­struc­tion Squadron, a sub-unit of Cana­dian Armed Forces 4 En­gi­neer Sup­port Reg­i­ment. The squadron spent two weeks con­struct­ing a pedes­trian bridge (back­ground) to close the loop around the War­ren Lake Hik­ing Trail. The build was part of five projects com­pleted through­out Cape Bre­ton by 4 ESR as part the reg­i­ment’s an­nual train­ing ex­er­cise, Ex NIHILO SAPPER.
