Isabelle Alice Marjorie June (Doig) Morrow of Brighton, Ontario, passed away March 3, 2018 with family by her side in Peterborough, Ontario.

Wife of the late James Harcla Morrow, sister to the late Ruth (Pat) Bodkin and daughter to the late Joesph and Florence (White) Doig of Smithfield, Ontario, June was in her 98th year. She was also predeceased by daughter Kathryn. She is survived by her children Susan Jane (Bob) Campbell Ardrossan, Alberta; James H. (Sharon) Morrow Middle River, CBI, Nova Scotia; and Cynthia Jean (Steve) Guerin Peterborough, Ontario. She leaves behind 9 grandchildren including Erin Daniel (Michelle) Morrow Toronto, Ontario and Megan Celeste (Donald Hamm) Morrow, Baddeck; 17 great-grandchildren; and a beloved niece and nephews.

A woman who enjoyed life to the fullest, Mom found comfort and joy at home and in her community. She was a Canadian Girls in Training leader, a member of the Trinity St. Andrews United Church Women, past Matron of Brighton Chapter of the Eastern Star, and member of the Canadian Power Squadron. Professionally she worked as an insurance broker, a real estate agent, and she was a partner in the family business.

An accomplished domestic artist she designed and decorated two family homes filling them with friends, family and the savoury aromas of her diverse culinary skills. A self-taught seamstress she had an enduring flare for fashion. Mom was a life-long avid world traveller and her grandchildren all tell tales of exciting road trips with Grandma behind the wheel. Her lively and friendly spirit is missed by all.

Cremation has taken place. An interment service will be held at a later date in Brighton, Ontario.
