In the July/ Au­gust is­sue, the ar­ti­cle “Ocanada, Beloved Coun­try, Thou!” in­cor­rectly stated that it was in 1908 that Robert Stan­ley Weir wrote what would be­come the na­tional an­them’s of­fi­cial English lyrics. In fact, he wrote them in 1907. The Wal­rus re­grets the er­ror.
