The RCMP would like to find out who is responsible for some tasteless vandalism on a Pasadena school property this past weekend.

The police received a complaint Tuesday that a school bus, a garbage dumpster and the back wall of Pasadena Academy were targets of a spray-painting spree some time during the Thanksgiving Day long weekend.

According to Cpl. David Cooper of the Deer Lake detachment of the RCMP, the graffiti included vulgar phrases and images. He said there were words and symbols on the bus, images on the school wall and a phrase on the dumpster.

Cooper declined to provide the media with any images of the vandalism.

The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information about the mischief is asked to contact the Deer Lake RCMP at 635-2173. Tips may also be left anonymously by calling Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222TIPS (8477) or texting TIP190, plus your message, to “CRIMES” (274637).
