It is with great sad­ness that the fam­ily of the late Di­nah Bella Lang­don an­nounce her pass­ing at the Health Sciences Com­plex, in St. John’s, NL, on Wed­nes­day, Jan­uary 10th, 2018 at the age of 79 years. Leav­ing to mourn with fond and loving mem­o­ries her chil­dren; Mau­reen, Sharon (Jim), Ros­alind, all of Pasadena, NL, and Brian (Denise) of Monc­ton, NB, her grand­chil­dren; Sonya (Peter), Michael, Me­lanie (Michel), Jonathon, Whit­ney, Mark, Jen­nifer, Dakota, Anthony, Laura-Lynn, and Jes­sica, her great-grand­chil­dren; Hay­ley, Lo­gan, Zach­ery, and Gra­cie, her broth­ers; Ger­ald (Jessie), Robert (Francine), and Don (Lena), her sis­ters; Bon­nie (Jim), Myra (Jim), Max­ine (Dave), and Linda, brother-in-law; Ivan, sis­ters-in-law; Hat­tie, Vi­vian, El­iz­a­beth, San­dra, and Betty, Di­nah was pre­de­ceased by her hus­band; Ray­mond, son; Mark, par­ents; Marigold and Har­vey Wight, broth­ers; Wayne, Vic­tor, Ju­nior, and Claude. Also leav­ing to mourn a large cir­cle of nieces, neph­ews, other rel­a­tives, ex­tended fam­ily and friends. In Di­nah’s mem­ory, in lieu of flow­ers, do­na­tions may be made to the Mus­cu­lar Dys­tro­phy As­so­ci­a­tion Canada At­lantic Re­gional Of­fice, 170 Cro­marty Drive, Suite 222, Dart­mouth, NS B3B 0G1 and would be grate­fully ap­pre­ci­ated by the fam­ily. The fam­ily will be re­ceiv­ing fam­ily and friends at The Pen­te­costal Church in Pasadena, NL, on Satur­day, Jan­uary 13th, 2018, from the hours of 7-9 pm, and con­tin­u­ing on Sun­day, Jan­uary 14th, 2018, from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 pm, where also the fu­neral ser­vice will take place from on Mon­day, Jan­uary 15th, 2018 at 1:00 pm, with Ma­jor Fred­er­ick & Louise Pond of­fi­ci­at­ing with the burial to fol­low at the fam­ily plot of Sal­va­tion Army Ceme­tery on North Lake Road in Pasadena, NL.
