4:00 PM | Waterloo Regional Police and the Ministry of Transporta­tion conducted a commercial motor vehicle inspection initiative at Nafziger Road and Highway 7/8. In total 22 commercial vehicles were stopped, with five being taken out of service and six charges being laid. Charges included defective brakes, overweight, no brake lights, fail to accurately complete inspection report, and no trip inspection.
