2:00 AM | OPP were no­ti­fied of the theft of a truck from a ru­ral res­i­dence on Perth Line 44 in the Town­ship of Perth East. The in­ves­ti­ga­tion re­vealed that two sus­pects had driven on to the prop­erty in a white pickup truck shortly be­fore 2 a.m. One of the sus­pects then stole an un­locked grey-coloured Chevro­let Sil­ver­ado pickup truck that had been parked at the res­i­dence. The keys for this truck had been inside the ve­hi­cle. Both trucks then left the res­i­dence to­gether in an un­known di­rec­tion. Po­lice are con­tin­u­ing to in­ves­ti­gate this in­ci­dent and are seek­ing the pub­lic’s as­sis­tance in iden­ti­fy­ing the ve­hi­cle that the sus­pects ini­tially ar­rived in. This pick-up has a dis­tinct red sym­bol on the pas­sen­ger side door.
